Ask first
How do you define a lead, a qualified appointment, a show, an accepted case, and collected revenue? Are those definitions consistent across locations?
Build real commercial consulting skills—one client question, diagnostic exercise, and practical decision at a time.
Continue Module 01 ↗Learn to follow a full-arch practice's patient-acquisition funnel, identify where performance breaks down, and distinguish evidence from assumptions.
Module 01 is available in this prototype. The remaining questions define the learning roadmap; we’ll build them using the same lesson and case-study structure.
You’re meeting the founder of Summit Full-Arch Centers, a fictional four-location implant group. Lead volume is increasing, but revenue isn’t. Which questions do you ask before recommending a solution?
Training scenario only. All numbers are illustrative, not industry benchmarks.
Modeled counts are expected values, not guaranteed real patient outcomes. Costs shown reflect ad spend only, not total acquisition expenses.
The answers are less important than knowing what to ask, what to calculate, and how to test your assumptions.
How do you define a lead, a qualified appointment, a show, an accepted case, and collected revenue? Are those definitions consistent across locations?
Ad CPL = ad spend ÷ leads. Cost per show = ad spend ÷ shows. Cost per accepted case = ad spend ÷ accepted cases. These are advertising-only measures.
Validate the data, identify possible root causes, estimate the opportunity, propose a test, assign an owner, and measure the result.
A practice says its leads are poor. Lead volume is stable, but bookings are down. What's the strongest initial response?
